Welcome to FacingFranklin.com

I hope that this compilation of images and stories spanning from childhood to adulthood will encourage others to examine their own lives.

Facing Franklin's narrative relates well with people from many walks of life. It even reminded one friend of growing up in a household where mental illness was prevalent. When she made the discovery in adulthood, it was validating to realize that she'd been the stable one in the family all along.

What did you see one way as a child, that you now know is totally different?

Facing Franklin has moments of sweetness and humor, but its evolving view of the world at life's different stages is something that we all share. In times that seems intent on dividing us from one another, it's my hope that the stories in Facing Franklin will encourage exploration of our common humanity.

The exhibition will be open to the public through Friday, October 31 at the Queens College of the Arts, The Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library, 65-30 Kissena Blvd., 6th floor, Flushing, NY 11367.

Please refer to the "Events" tab for gallery hours. We'd love to see you there!

Thank you again,

 Regina
